makeplace is Norwich's learning venue in the heart of the city's 'Creative Quarter.'
makeplace is the latest project from the family that runs the two thriving Anglian Fashion Fabric shops in Magdalen Street. The aim of makeplace is to inspire, encourage and develop all abilities with new ideas and techniques. It has been created to compliment the existing shops and to share a wealth of knowledge and expertise.
makeplace is tailored for a variety of abilities from complete beginners to advanced to learn sewing and crafting skills.
makeplace will offer friendly, affordable classes in a specially equipped workspace providing all necessary fabrics and materials.
makeplace will also be used as a venue for a regular Craft Market to showcase the ideas and talents of staff, customers and local designer makers.
